Message from the Ambassador
I warmly welcome you to the website of the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, and would like to share with you good wishes of Nepal and the Nepalese.
China and Nepal are age-old friends. From time immemorial the two countries are enjoying eras of friendship and cooperation characterized by common values, traditions and cultures. I have been burdened with the responsibility of elevating the age-old ties between the two countries towards a new height. Besides official level, I will pay equal attention to extend the spheres of interactions at the peoples' level. Students, artists, businesspeople, professionals, academic institutes, civil society bodies, NGOs, media and all individuals and institutions living in each other's country have their distinguished role in strengthening the existing ties. In my capacity as Ambassador, I will work tirelessly to make their endeavors pay for the goodwill of both the countries and peoples.
Our new direction should be heading for peace and prosperity of the peoples through economic growth and social progress. I feel there are scores of untapped areas and resources which we could employ in that direction. My whole efforts would be to explore all these avenues of cooperation including trade, investment and tourism. In the meantime, I would like to cordially welcome Chinese friends in Nepal: as an investor, as a trader, or simply as a tourist. My colleagues and I are ready to assist you at the Embassy.
I take this opportunity to express my appreciation to the Nepalese community in China for shining Nepal's image here, and for their role in strengthening people-to-people relations between the two countries. I encourage the Nepalese nationals living in China to remain in touch with the Embassy, and assure them of my sincere cooperation at any time.
I hope you will find this website a glimpse of the services of the Embassy, as well as a small window to peep through the beauty of Nepal. Your suggestions, comments and queries are most welcome.
Thank you.
